Overview:
Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations Network Architect to join our team. As an IT Operations Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network infrastructures to support our business operations. You will work closely with other IT teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and security professionals, to ensure that our network is efficient, secure, and scalable.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex network infrastructures to support business operations.
- Work with other IT teams to ensure network reliability, efficiency, and security.
- Develop and maintain network architecture and standards.
- Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement network security protocols and policies.
- Conduct network audits and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network architecture and design.
- Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols, architectures, and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
- Experience with network security technologies and protocols, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and SSL.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SNMP, NetFlow, and Wireshark.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
