The Consultant will oversee and manage pricing strategies and systems including, optimizing business processes through successful implementation and utilization of Salesforce technology. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, such as sales, finance, product management and IT, to ensure accurate and efficient pricing processes
Job Description:
• Pricing Systems: Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of PROS pricing systems, software and tools. Work closely with IT teams to ensure smooth integration and functionality.
• Salesforce Implementation: Planning, coordination, and execution of Salesforce implementation projects. This involves gathering requirements, defining project scope, creating implementation plans, and managing timelines.
• Customization and Configuration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business processes and requirements, and customize Salesforce accordingly. This includes configuring objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and other Salesforce components to meet the organization’s needs.
• Integration: Coordinating with IT teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems and platforms, such as ERP or marketing automation tools. This involves identifying integration requirements, overseeing data mapping, and ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
• Data Management: Overseeing data migration and data cleansing activities during Salesforce implementation or system upgrades. Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Collaboration and Communication: Facilitating effective communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, Salesforce administrators, developers, and other project team members. This includes providing regular project updates, conducting status meetings, and managing expectations.
Education, Experience and Training:
– Experience in Pricing Products in a B2B Manufacturing context.
– Salesforce configuration and administration
– Finance background (not banking or other FSI’s)
– Change Management background with direct experience managing sprints.
– Corporate Finance background (not banking, trading or other FSI’s)
– Salesforce configuration experience
– Pricing experience in a B2B manufacturing environment
– Change management/Scrum Certification
– Superior spoken and written communication skills”
